Alice Marie Lang

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice Marie Lang, who left this world on October 28, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on November 9, 1961, in Wilmington, Delaware, Alice brought joy and light into the lives of those around her, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and community spirit. Alice was the beloved daughter of Ronald and Alice Boulden, who fostered in her a strong sense of family and compassion for others. She was a devoted wife to Ephraim E. Lang III, who preceded her in death, as did her daughter, Danielle Lang. Alice's strength and resilience were evident throughout her life, and her love for her family was unwavering. Alice is survived by her son, Ephraim “Buddy” Lang IV of Christina, and her five grandchildren: Olivia Tingey (Ethan), Gabby Lang, Ares Lang, Hailey Lang, and Jason Lang. They were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom and love that will resonate for generations to come. A vibrant and outspoken individual, Alice had the remarkable ability to engage anyone in conversation, often sparking laughter and meaningful exchanges. Her warm presence was a constant source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends. Alice was also deeply committed to her community, volunteering her time at the local church bread pantry, where she shared her compassion and dedication to helping others. In her leisure time, Alice found joy in photography, capturing the beauty of the world and the special moments in her life. She also enjoyed bowling, where her competitive spirit shone brightly among friends and family. Alice's life was a testament to the power of connection, love, and generosity. She touched the hearts of many and leaves behind a community that will dearly miss her vibrant spirit. In celebrating Alice's life, we invite all who knew and loved her to a celebration of life at Richardson Park United Methodist Church at 1 PM on November 8, 2025, 11 N Maryland Ave, Wilmington, DE 19713. We encourage those who attend to share their memories and stories as we honor the remarkable woman Alice was. Though Alice has left us physically, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved. We will carry her memory with us, cherishing the impact she made in our lives and in our community. Rest in peace, dear Alice; you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
