Caroline Wanjiku

Caroline Wanjiku, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, was born on January 9th, 1990, in Kenya. She embarked on her life's journey with a spirit as vibrant as the Kenyan landscape itself. Tragically, she departed this world on September 2nd, 2023, at the age of 33, due to a sudden brain aneurysm, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Caroline's life was marked by transitions and growth. In 2002, she relocated to the United States, where she embraced new opportunities and experiences with the same enthusiasm that defined her character. Throughout her life, she remained firmly rooted in her Christian faith, finding strength and solace in her spiritual beliefs. Professionally, Caroline excelled in the financial industry, where her diligence, intelligence, and unwavering commitment earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Her dedication to her work mirrored her approach to life: with a profound sense of responsibility and a determination to achieve her goals. Beyond her professional pursuits, Caroline was a vibrant and passionate individual. She was a lover of music, finding solace and joy in its melodies, and she could often be found dancing with grace and abandon, celebrating life's rhythms. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enthusiasm for nature, which she embraced through taking her daughter to the beach, picnics, and long walks in the park. Caroline is survived by her loving family: her mother, Mary; her father, Jesse; her devoted sister, Marie; and her beloved daughter, Riona. Also, she is survived by her Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in Kenya. Their bond of love and support was a source of strength for Caroline throughout her life, and her memory will forever live on in their hearts. Caroline Wanjiku touched the lives of many with her infectious laughter, her warm smile, and her unwavering love. She will be remembered for her zest for life, her dedication to family and faith, and her profound impact on the financial industry. As we bid farewell to Caroline, let us celebrate her life, cherishing the moments we shared with her and the legacy she leaves behind. A visitation will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, 9:30 am – 10:45 am at St. Veronica Anglican Fellowship Mission Church, 1545 Church Road, Bear, DE 19701. A Funeral service will be held to honor Caroline's life at St. Veronica Church on 11:00am, September 15, 2023, 1545 Church Rd. Bear, DE 19701.
