Christina Vaccaro

Christina Vaccaro (1969-2024) was the daughter of the late Anthony and Geraldine (Giordano) Vaccaro. She was a beloved wife and mother, Gigi, and dear friend. She lived a full, and beautiful life. God called her home on May 14, 2024. She was 55. Christina was the heart of her home and family. She raised four children in a happy and loving home to be loving, independent, and God-fearing adults. Christina was married for 28 years to her best friend, Andre. Christina was the best Gigi and loved every minute she got to spend with her three grandchildren. She was an incredible source of love, guidance, inspiration, and genuinely enjoyed spoiling them rotten. Christina was a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School. She went on to study at The Community College of Philadelphia before completing her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Temple University. Christina worked as a Property Manager at CLK Multifamily Management located in Newark, DE where she again, made everyone feel special and become a second family. Christina was an avid traveler and overall free spirit. She enjoyed doing anything outdoors, especially if it was with her kids. Christiana was known for her contagious laugh and enormously loving heart. She was the guiding light and soul of her family, and she will be dearly missed. Christina is survived by her spouse, Andre Jones; her four precious children: Alyssa (25), De’sean (23), Deaven (18), and Brianna (26); her brothers: Anthony, Ronald, and David Vaccaro; her grandchildren: Amilia (4), Xzavier (2), and Grace (5mos.); as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. At Christina’s request there will be nothing sad about her services or in her remembrance, but instead a celebration to remind us who she was and shall always be in spirit. Before her passing, Christina made it known that she wanted her loved ones to share a laugh, and raise a glass in celebration of her journey home. Christina’s Celebration of Life will be a private event held by invitation at the Scarlet Note located in New Castle, DE on Tuesday, May 28th from 11am to 3pm. Provisions will be provided, and we will dance in her honor.
