What is the mark of a great man? How do you judge or qualify a great man? Do you judge him by his tattoos and appearance? NO! Do you judge him by the circumstances of how he grew up? NO! He is judged by the size of his heart and the strength and meaning behind his actions. Chris was that guy that mostly kept to himself, but once he let you have a taste of his character you were instantly hooked. Whether you knew him his whole life or just a few minutes you could tell how amazing of a person he was. A rock in his family always stepping up and keeping the peace. A huge heart that expressed love to his entire family and showing that family was always #1. A vessel of respect that was shared by his very presence. Chris was an amazing and caring husband to April as well as a father of three amazing children (Jade, Catalina, and Christopher Jr.) who will now live out his legacy. His spirit will also be spread by the impact he made as a loving Son to his parents (Henry and Rosalyn), an awesome baby brother to his two older sisters (Yen and Mona) and older brother (Rob). A wonderful Uncle to 13 nieces and nephews. And finally the best friend any person can ask for. He was that person that would drop everything to help his family and friends and would always put others before himself. Although his life was cut short we should all feel extremely blessed for knowing him and being able to share some amazing moments. For now, those are ours to hold onto forever and we are all blessed to have a piece of Chris that will live on forever in our hearts and souls. Rest easy Chris and know that your family is taken care of because you made sure they would be, and we are all one big family and that has never and will never change. I miss you, but I will stay strong and celebrate your life rather than mourn your passing. A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 2-3 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a memorial service in celebration of Chris's life at 3 PM. Burial will be private.
