Clyde Robert Morrow

Clyde Robert Morrow, age 57, of Newark, DE passed away on July 21, 2020. He was born in West Chester, PA to Joan A. and John G. Morrow, Sr. Clyde was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His loved ones thank God for the gift Clyde was in their lives. Clyde served in the U.S. Army where he was certified in construction equipment repair. As a skilled sharpshooter, Clyde earned commendations of excellence for his marksmanship while serving our country. Clyde worked at Chrysler Corporation in Delaware for 18 years. In recent years, he was a De-Flash Operator for the DuPont Company. Clyde was very skilled mechanically. He graduated as a Motorcycle Technician Specialist from MMI in Arizona. Clyde enjoyed riding motorcycles his whole life and was proud of the three Harleys that he built, particularly his award-winning show bike. Clyde also achieved his Black Belt in Taekwondo. He was a talented cook with a gourmet style and loved Chinese food and cooking on the grill. Clyde was well known for his funny sense of humor that always made everyone laugh. He was an incredibly strong worker, and his big heart was ready and willing to help anyone in any way he could. Clyde was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Clyde is survived by his parents: Joan Ann and John Gordon Morrow, Sr.; his brother, John Gordon Morrow Jr.; his sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Jerry Johnson; his nephews and nieces: James and Lindsay Johnson, Joshua and Emma Johnson, Jacob Johnson and Jaclynn Johnson; great niece, Ginny Johnson; and great nephew, Phineas Johnson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many wonderful friends. Due to Covid-19 guidelines, the funeral service will be private with a celebration of life service planned for a later date. Clyde will be laid to rest at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701. The committal with Military Honors will take place in their chapel.
