Nicole Jennifer Albano

Nicole Jennifer Albano, age 23, of Middletown, DE, was received into God’s kingdom running, walking, singing, dancing, traveling, gardening, and earning her NYU wings on May 26, 2023. Nicole was an independent, strong, and fierce warrior. She had many hobbies including crystals, reading, cooking, decorating, gardening, writing, and traveling. Nicole started her own Etsy business. She enjoyed the beach, being outdoors in nature, and was an environmentally friendly pescatarian. Nicole was an animal lover and enjoyed horses, she even rode horses when she was younger. She was a music enthusiast with some of her favorite artists being Maroon 5, BTS, and Stray Kids. Some of her favorite memories and trips were to New Orleans and Wildwood, NJ. Nicole never let her disability determine who she was. Nicole touched many people’s lives and was an inspiration to many. She always had a positive attitude, never complained, made people laugh, and had a kind heart always giving to charities. Nicole was an empathetic soul. She was an advocate for many and often went to Dover to speak on behalf of others. Family meant the world to Nicole and so did family traditions. Nicole may have only been on this earth for 23 years but she left such a big impact on so many. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her near and far. Nicole is survived by her mother whom she called “Sweet Pea”, Jennifer DiBartolomeo-Albano; father, Joseph J. Albano and his wife, Lena; siblings, Zachary Joseph Albano and Isabella Mae DiBartolomeo; grandpop, Joel DiBartolomeo Sr.; grandmom, Cheryl DiBatolomeo; poppop, Joseph M. Albano; mommom, Joanna Albano; poppy, Lenny Lipcsik; grammy, Carol Lipcsik; uncles, Joel DiBartolomeo Jr. (Sharon) and Robert Albano; step-brother, Joshua Situmorang; nurse aids and best friends:, Tina Meekins, Wakine “Wie” Goldsborough, and Andrea Hedrick-Cavaoili; dog, Billy; cat, Mulan; and a host of wonderful caregivers, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Frances Casella, Angelina Ragu, Ermalinda Pilla; and her cat, Petunia.
