Robert Dean Crusco

Robert “Bobby” Dean Crusco, 72, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Bobby lived a life full of heart, humor, and purpose. He earned his associate’s degree from Chowan University in North Carolina and went on to build a successful business, Graphics Unlimited, Inc., where his creativity and work ethic shone through. A man of faith, Bobby served as both a deacon and Bible teacher at Cedars Church of Christ, always ready with wisdom, encouragement, or a good laugh. He was a guy who truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—especially if they involved food, family, and fun. If there was scrapple or Italian subs on the table, Bobby was first in line. He loved firing up the grill for friends and family, and making his shrimp gumbo. He was an avid reader, a pool shark among buddies, and the kind of man who made everyone feel welcome. Bobby made every moment count. He and his wife Linda—his partner in love and adventure for 43 wonderful years—shared countless memories traveling together, especially back to their favorite places in Tennessee and at car shows where his eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. Through his health journey, Bobby faced every challenge with strength and grace, always surrounded by a devoted circle of family and friends. The family is deeply grateful to Wilmington Hospital, Cadia Rehab, Accent Care, Trinity Health, and Fresenius Kidney Care Center for the outstanding care and compassion they provided along the way. Bobby leaves behind a loving legacy: his wife, Linda Crusco; son, John Crusco; treasured granddaughter Kinsley Skye; sister, Debbie Paige (Billy); and a large, loving extended family including sisters-in-law: Sharon McCubbin (Greg), Donna Jones (Jamie), Brenda Veale (Ken), Nancy Lackford (Mike; Craig, deceased), and Janet Schuhart (Shannon, deceased). He was Uncle Bob to a host of nieces and nephew's —each with their own favorite “Bobby story.” He's now reunited with those who went before him: his parents, Frank and Beulah Crusco; in-laws, John and Lois Arnold; and his lifelong best friend, Billy Hackett (Carol still living), no doubt already trading jokes and sharing stories in heaven.
