Sandra "Sandy" Lee Harrison

Sandra "Sandy" Lee Harrison, age 76, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Sunday, May 26th, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on October 3, 1947 she was the daughter of William and Edna Greene. Sandy was a proud Homemaker for her husband, son, and multiple family members and friends that she cared for over many years. Sandy's home was everyone's home, never a question asked. Everyone knew every Friday night growing up that Sandy was ordering pizza and everyone was eating. Sandy was vivacious and fiery from start to finish. She loved hard and she was the embodiment of loyalty. Her family meant everything to her, and she showed that through her love and dedication for them and to them. She was the purest and most selfless person many of us will ever know. What stood out about Sandy the most was her dedication to her husband Jerry. They set the standard for how a marriage should be. For better or worse Sandy was there. The example they set was not only admirable it was beautiful. Setting the standard for how we all should love one another. So for anyone married don't just have a good marriage have a Sandy and Jerry marriage. Sandy was preceded in death by her sons Gerald and Wayne Harrison; her parents William and Edna Greene; brothers: Robert, Billy, and Richard Greene; and sisters in Law: Elaine Perdue, Linda Harrison, and Julie Harrison. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne; sisters in law: Paula Smallwood (Steve), Tammy Brown (Fred); brother Raymond Greene (April); nephews: Steven Beltran (Courtney), Jake Brown, Robert Smallwood, Michael Perdue, David Harrison (Amanda); nieces: Michele Beltran, Denice Smallwood (Adam), Rachel Brown, Connie Smallwood, Brenda Smallwood, Paula Perdue; and numerous other notable family members: Dajah Brown, Zyaire Brown, Jahsir Maxwell, JaVius Maxwell, Kylie Beltran, and Shanna Beltran, Josh Dailey, and Jordon Dailey. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 10-11 AM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE.
