Thaddeus Henry Stryminski II

Thaddeus Henry Stryminski II, age 58, also known as Tadge or Thad to those who loved him, was born on April 1, 1966 to Mary Ellen Norris and Thaddeus Stryminski. In the early morning hours of October 8, 2024, he unexpectedly gained his wings and joined the angels. Tadge was known for his very full, giving heart. He was the “glue” to many of his friends and family. Day or night, he would pick up the phone when someone called, no matter what it regarded. Tadge was known for his compassion, sense of humor, and generous heart. He loved animals, especially dogs. Tadge loved sports and was a loyal Oklahoma Sooners Fan. He was also a foodie and enjoyed trying new dishes. Tadge’s legacy lives on through his children whom he loved irrevocably and unconditionally. He was the best father a person could ask for. His children have been told by many that they were his pride and joy. Tadge was his daughter’s confidant and he spoke to her twice daily. To his son, Tadge was his best friend. Tadge had a very fulfilling career in the military as a Chief Petty Officer and later worked as a contractor for the Coast Guard/Military. He beamed with pride when being called a “Coastie”. He formed many deep friendships during his military service and leaves behind many Coast Guardsmen whom he served with and respected. Tadge leaves behind his beloved children, son, Nik Stryminski and daughter, Brittany Stryminski; and his life partner, Mary Bradshaw, whom he loved dearly over a 10-year period. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Debby Goodchild, with whom he would hold friendly facetime conversations along with his daughter in recent years. No matter what their differences, Tadge put them aside to make sure his children were okay. Tadge is also survived by his sisters, Jeannine Hoy (John) and Jennifer Stryminski; his brother, Gordon “Taco” Norris and wife, Kathy Norris; his Aunt Rosie and Uncle Al; his nephews, Jeromy Rehling and Camron Rehling; his niece, Haley Cobb; and a host of family and friends. Tadge was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Norris; his father, Thaddeus Stryminski; his grandmother, Genevieve Stryminski; and his uncle, Richard Stryminski. His faithful dogs, Sarah Sue, Lola, Katie, Truly, and Cupcake crossed the rainbow bridge and no doubt have welcomed him with love. Tadge will be remembered by all with a smile on his face.
