Anthony G. Dambrosio Sr., age 93, of Bear, DE, went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2022. Anthony was a tank commander in the US Army and then went on to work as a correctional officer for many years before retiring as a security guard. In his younger years he enjoyed playing football and loved bowling. He was a hardworking man and would sometimes work 3-4 jobs to take care of his family. Anthony was always smiling and was able to put a smile on other people faces as well. Anthony is survived by his children, Dianna Wilson (Kenneth) and Anthony Dambrosio Jr. (Donna); grandchildren: Kelsey, Kenny, and Mark; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Dambrosio; parents, Frank and Nellie Dambrosio; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. A viewing will be held Monday, May 9, 2022, from 10-11 AM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road in Newark, followed by a celebration of life at 11 AM.
