Beverly A Brong, Age 72, of New Castle, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 17, 2022. She will be deeply missed and will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her. Beverly, the daughter of the late John and Viola Gland, was born March 1, 1950, in Wilmington, Delaware. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, painting, taking family vacations, gardening, crafting, photography, and loving her dogs Taz and Dutchess. Beverly was a devoted wife to her late husband Kenneth Brong; loving mother to her daughter, Angela Argoe (Jeffrey) and son, Michael; granny to her precious grandchildren: Logan Prindible (Derek), Brittney Argoe, and Joanna Tichnell; Gi Gi to her great grandchildren, Carson and Camryn Prindible who she loved and adored; godmother to Douglas Smith; and stepmother to Wendy Wemyss (Stuart) and Heather Herr. She will be dearly missed by her brother, Robert Gland Sr.; sister, Eleanor Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Badger; brothers: James (Ducky), John H, David and Larry Gland; niece, Kimberly Smith; stepson, Cyrus Brong; and ex-husband, Michael Badger Sr. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 10-11 AM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 Noon at St. Anthony of Padua, 901 N Dupont St, Wilmington, DE 19805. Burial will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
