Charles G. McCuen, 75, of Newark, DE passed away December 19, 2021 just shy of his 76th birthday. Charles was a Member of VFW Post 3420. He was safety manager of Kuehne Chemical Company in Delaware City for many years. Since the early 60s, he was the lead singer for the rock and roll band The Starfires in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Dotti; children: Christopher (Brandi) McCuen, Jenine (Michael Martelli) Sturgis and Kristin (Jason E. Conyer) Sanderlin; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother: Richard (Becky) McCuen; as well as his beloved dog “Jack”. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles McCuen and daughter, Holli Remaily. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2 to 3 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, where a celebration of life will take place at 3PM.
