Emmanuel Appiah, age 53, of Bear, DE, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Emmanuel was born in Ghana and his mother still lives there. He was a valued employee of PSEG. Emmanuel liked to play tennis, but he was a big fan of soccer (football). He liked to travel and see new places. Emmanuel will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. Emmanuel is survived by his loving wife, Gifty; 5 children: Yaw Yeboah Appiah, Akwasi Afriyie Appiah, Daniel Appiah, Nathaniel Appiah, and Ohemaa Ama Adu Mensah; mother, Grace; brothers, Joshua and Atah; sisters: Anokyewaa, Dufie, Amankwa, Nane, and Yaa; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Yaw Barimah. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 1-3 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Emmanuel’s life at 3 PM.
