Eui Jin "Vincent" Kwon

Eui Jin "Vincent" Kwon, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 24, 2022. He was the eldest son of the late Young No Kwon and Che Im Che. A successful entrepreneur and business owner, he came to this country to live the American dream and – he did that & and more. His generosity in life and selflessness knew no bounds, and he served as a pillar of strength for his family, friends and community. We are grateful for the time he gave us to come together, make amends and celebrate his life. His biblical name - Vincent - is derived from the Latin word vincere, meaning 'to conquer.' With perseverance, humility and loyalty, he conquered numerous challenges and led a meaningful life, filled with devotion to his family and friends. Eui Jin is survived by his beloved wife, Min Sook "Jema" Kwon; son, Yong Kwon; daughter-in-law, Yo-Rhin Rhim; grandson, Joon Sebastian Kwon; and a host of siblings, cousins, nephews and nieces. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 4-5 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702, followed by a service in celebration of his life at 5 PM.
