Gerald J. (Jerry) Pierce, age 67, of Bear, DE. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Jerry was born in West Chester, PA, to the late Rose (Mancuso) Pierce and Charles Pierce. Jerry proudly served in the Delaware Army National Guard until his retirement. He worked for Chrysler Corp for 30+ years until their closing when he took early retirement. Jerry was also a dedicated member of the Church of the Nativity in New Castle, DE. He served on the church's Vestry, was an acolyte, and on the Altar Guild. He also was a member of the Elks Lodge #2281. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marguerite (Boone) Pierce; stepdaughter, Michelle Tomczyk (Anthony); stepson, James Pantuliano; grandsons, Craig Tomczyk and Mark Tomczyk; brother, Michael Pierce (Robyn); niece, Sarah Pierce; nephew, Michael Pierce Jr; his Patchogue L.I. family; and many friends.
