James R. Startzman Jr., age 67, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2022. James was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Rollins College. He eventually moved to Delaware in 1986 after completing a career in marine construction and dredging. In 1993 he became and realtor. James was a community enthusiast who was a big supporter of law enforcement and a gun activist. in 2018 James ran for the Delaware 19th House District as he wanted people to enjoy the vibrant economy that he enjoyed when he first moved to DE. James is survived by his sisters, Jane Startzman and Anne Pollard; and his cats: Jasper, Grayson, and Telleluse. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn Startzman.
