John L. DeBerardinis, age 53, of Wilmington, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on February 17, 2022. John leaves many fond memories to his family, co-workers, and friends. He was always ready to help anyone who needed a job well done! John worked for T.A. Cochran & Son Plumbing, Heating and AC. He was a hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the great outdoors. John is deeply loved and we will miss his spirit and beautiful happy smile. Heaven has gained another new family member, who is now watching over us! John is survived by his mother, Sarah; siblings: Robert, Jr. (Kim), and William Scott; nieces and nephews: Nichole, Robert III, Jeanie and Samantha; great nieces and nephews: Evie Rose, Moony and Alaya; he is also survived by his uncles and aunts, Richard and Rita Simpson and Susan and Gerald Hammond, as well as cousins, Andrew, Erica and Rosemary. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. DeBerardinis, Sr. Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
