Kevin Preston Roberts, age 65, of New Castle, DE, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. Kevin was a kind and gentle soul. He took pride in his work as a mailman for the past 20 years and loved his boys, dog Nala, and family more than anything. He was a beloved father, pop-pop, brother, uncle, and friend. Kevin loved the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. In his spare time, he loved to listen to Elvis and organize his records. Kevin also loved working on his yard, specifically his flower bed. People that knew him, knew he loved to eat; it always showed on his face and shirt afterward haha. He will be greatly missed. Kevin is survived by his sons, Kevin Roberts and Nicholas Roberts (Shannon); grandchildren, Jaxon and Kevin III; siblings, Connie Reichard (Dave) and 4 other siblings; and nephews, Chris and Dave; and niece, Heather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Mary Jane Roberts. A visitation will be held Monday, May 9, 2022, from 6-7 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Kevin’s life at 7 PM.
