Martha J. “Marti” Duffey, 90, of Wilmington, passed away on January 20, 2022. Born February 1, 1931, in Wheeling, WV, to Cecil F. and Mary M. Babb, Marti moved to Wilmington, DE when she was 6 years old. She worked at Schaffers Grocery Store and Rosses Grocery Store. Marti later went back to school to become a LPN and worked at Wilmington General Hospital in the NICU and later Christiana Care Maternal Child Care. Marti is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Ray) Tolson and Faith Duffey; grandchildren: Matt, Rob, and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren: Michael, Ash, and Reagen. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Patricia Watkins. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022n from 1:30 to 2 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road in Newark, where a memorial service will be held at 2 PM.
