Phillip Brent Yetter, Sr., age 63, of Townsend, DE, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Phillip went to Miami Dade College on a baseball scholarship. He was a valued employee of USPS from which he retired. Phillip loved playing and watching baseball, football, and golf as well as cheering for all the Philadelphia sports teams. He was a hardworking, loving Dad and PopPop who loved having all the family together especially when they were making memories at the beach and at holiday dinners. Phillip will be deeply missed. Phillip is survived by his children: Jennifer Noble (John), Brent Yetter, Zachary Yetter, and Kyle Yetter; grandchildren, Michael and Dillon; siblings, Jay Yetter (Jill), Terry Yetter (Ray), and Ann Yetter; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and grandpuppy, Jager. He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Bane and father, William “Bill” Yetter. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020, from 2-3 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Phillip’s life at 3 PM.
