Richard T. Brown, age 68, Of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Richard was a valued employee of AutoZone where he worked as a parts manager. He also enjoyed working on cars. Richard was a generous man who could always be counted on to help others. Richard enjoyed comic books and was known to use his creativity to write his own. He enjoyed watching all types of movies including SciFi, action, and comedy. WMMR was always playing on his radio. Richard enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, MD where many memories were made with family and friends. Richard is survived by his sons, Josh Murphy (Laura) and Justin Murphy; fiancée, Barbara Murphy; nephew and niece, Riley and Jaxon; best friend, John West; and close friends, Lynnie and Tony Knosky. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Bailey; and daughter, Jackie Brown. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702.
