Sherry L. Blevins Zecca, age 49, of Felton, DE, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, January 15, 2022. Sherry was a loving mom who was thrilled that her son, Joey, was happily married to Kelsea. She enjoyed road trips with her sister, Brenda. Sherry loved the competition of playing games whether it be candy crush, Xbox, or a rousing game of Scrabble. She was an avid Eagles fan. Sherry liked watching reality shows and the military drama – The Unit. She will be dearly missed by her cherished family and friends. Sherry is survived by her father, Larry Blevins; son, Joseph Zecca III (Kelsea); grandchild, Noel; siblings, Brenda Stewart and Shawn Blevins, Sr.; nephews: Shawn Blevins Jr., Chris Vega (Stephanie), and Brandon Vega, (Lacey); former husband, Joseph Zecca Jr.; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Blevins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 1 PM at Pleasantville Baptist Church, 162 Christiana Road, New Castle, DE 19720. Burial will be private.
