Soknam "Nami" Addison Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On 18 May 2022, Soknam (Nami) Y. Addison was called by the Lord to her heavenly home following a short battle with cancer. She will always be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her generous and adventurous nature. A loving wife to Chris Addison and devoted mother of two sons, Wesley and Joshua, her family meant everything to her, to include her extended church family. There was nothing she wouldn’t graciously do to support her family's needs. And as anyone who knew Nami could tell you, her pets were beloved family members that were pampered and loved daily without reservation. Nami also worked diligently for many years in real estate, to help her fellow Koreans in the area to find affordable housing that meets their needs, frequently donating her earnings to the church. Nami loved to travel and was always ready for a new adventure. She traveled throughout Germany and Europe during her husband’s three-year assignment there, and recently celebrated her 30th anniversary with her husband on the beautiful beaches of the Virgin Islands. While Nami will be greatly missed by her family and friends, they shall take comfort knowing that she will be reunited with her mother, Jung Hee Nam Kung, who preceded her in death. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, 25 May 2022, at the Strano and Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. On the morning of Thursday, 26 May 2022, her funeral will be held at the Strano and Feeley Family Funeral home. Visitation will be from 08:30 to 09:30 AM, followed by a service celebrating her life from 09:30 to 10:15 AM. Burial will be at the Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, with a short prayer between 11:00 AM to 11:20 AM.
