Stephen A. Tedeschi, age 62, of Wilmington, DE, went home to the Lord, where he earned his wings on January 6, 2022. Stephen loved playing guitar, helping out his friends from work, and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful cook, cooking fish for the family even though that was not one of his favorites and also cooking his children’s favorite, empanadas. Stephen was a true homebody who loved his kids and his best friend and wife, Adriene. Stephen is survived by his wife, Adriene; children, Ian and Shannon; mother, Mary Steckman (Richard); siblings: Laura Murphy (Bill), Eileen Burzo, and Thomas Lambertu; nieces and nephews: Colin Murphy, Tristan Murphy, John Burzo Jr.(Marie), and Matthew Burzo (Ashley); great-nieces and nephews: Gianna, James, and Matthew Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 1:30-3 PM at the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd, Newark, DE 19702. A service in celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Stephen’s name to Brandywine Valley SPCA, Faithful Friends, or the DE Human Society.
