William T. "Tom" Morris II

March 11, 2021

William Thomas “Tom” Morris II, age 48, of Bear, DE, surrounded by his loving family, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, March 11, 2021. Tom was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He cherished his family and the memories they made together. Tom graduated from Wilmington University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He spent 30 years working for Wilmington Trust in their Corporate Trust Department. Tom loved meeting people and spending time with them. He especially enjoyed fellowshipping with his church family at Ogletown Baptist Church where he loved to hear God’s Word preached. Tom loved to play basketball and also was an avid Philadelphia Sports teams fan. He will be dearly missed by all that were blessed to have known him. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Kelly Morris; children: William Morris III, Benjamin Morris, Grace Morris, and Nathaniel Morris; parents, William Sr. and Sandra Morris; sister, Jennifer Lavallee (Troy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021, from 9:30-11:30 AM at Ogletown Baptist Church, 316 Red Mill Rd, Newark, DE 19713 followed by a service in celebration of Tom’s life at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Open Door Baptist Missions, 1115 Pelham Road Greenville SC 29615.
