Linda M. Fuller

Linda Marie Fuller, age 71, daughter of the late Joseph Albert Fuller and Virginia Wilkins Fuller entered into life on June 6, 1951, at Maryland Medical Hospital in Newark, NJ. Linda departed this life peacefully and responded to the call of eternal reward on August 2, 2022, in her New Castle, DE, home surrounded by family and friends. Linda grew up educated in the New Jersey school system. She graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark, NJ. Following graduation she worked at White Castle in Orange County, NJ, as a server, Ms. Dee’s restaurant in Newark, NJ, as a waitress, and before moving to Delaware she worked at Popeyes as a cashier & shift supervisor. After relocating to New Castle, DE, Linda worked for the Red Clay school district for many years as a cafeteria server before she retired. Later in life Linda rededicated her life to Christ and joined Manna Christian Fellowship Church under the direction of Rev. Aaron R. Moore. She remained an active member until her death. To know Linda was to love Linda. Affectionately known to her family and friends as “Shafiquah” Linda was the life of the party. She enjoyed entertaining a crowd. Linda had a love for dancing, singing, cooking, hosting parties, and most of all babysitting every kid she could. Linda was a Gemini, so she loved a good argument. Linda enjoyed spending her Friday nights having fish fry's with her friends JoAnn and Shelia (They were known as the Golden Girls). Linda spent her weekends throwing BBQs on the front lawn for the neighborhood, playing spades with her G-son Bonez, Tre, and Gibby, and talking mad junk. Linda hated to lose and would play all night until she won everybody’s money. Linda always opened her home to anyone who needed a warm meal and good conversation. Linda enjoyed listening to music and watching TV. Her favorite TV shows were Dancing Dolls, Divorce Court, and Little House on the Prairie. Those who knew her knew that those shows were in constant rotation 24-7 in her home. Linda will definitely be forever etched in our hearts. In addition to her parents, Joseph and Virginia Fuller, Linda is predeceased in death by her three sons: Anthony “Mook” Fuller, Ernest “Pikey” Fuller, and Michael “Chicken” Fuller. Two brothers, Joseph Eugene Fuller and Richard Lamont Fuller. May they rest in peace. Linda leaves to cherish her memories her only surviving son, Mark “Jingles” Fuller; her only sister, Elouise Fuller; her brother, Robert Lee Fuller; 12 grandchildren: Zakiyyah, Asia, Kaylisse, Dominique, Zanashia, Jamall, Dysher, Taleeah, Tamirah, Andre, Michael, and Keith; 3 great-grandchildren: Anthoney, Jamilah, and Jody; and many nieces, nephews, and children she adopted throughout the neighborhood. Linda will be greatly missed and never forgotten by everyone whose life she has entered. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 2-3 PM at Strano and Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service of remembrance at 3 PM.
