Pablo Quiles

Pablo Quiles, age 85 of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Pablo lived a full life, rich with love, laughter, and adventure. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, cherished stepfather, and a veteran who served his country with honor. Pablo was known for his bold personality, unfiltered sense of humor, colorful language, and generous spirit. He found true happiness in being surrounded by those he loved—whether he was sharing stories, cracking jokes, or simply enjoying the moment with his family and friends. His presence was larger than life, and his selflessness and compassionate heart left a lasting impact on everyone who truly knew him. While it is difficult to say goodbye, we find peace in knowing he was joyfully reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Gloria; and his stepsons, Axel, Louis, and Heriberto. He is survived by his daughter, Wanda; sons: Hiram, Carlos, and Tony; stepson, Roberto; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. A special thank-you goes to his grandson, Esteban Bernal, who lovingly cared for Pablo in his final days, helping to make each one a little easier. Pablo will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind spirit, deep faith, and adventurous soul will never be forgotten. He will forever live in our hearts. Your life was a blessing to us all—full of love, kindness, and grace. Though you're no longer with us, your memory we’ll forever embrace. We'll remember the way you made us feel, the joy you brought into our lives. And though we miss you dearly, we know you're now in paradise. Rest now, dear one, in God's loving arms, where there's no pain or sorrow. You'll always be with us, in our hearts—today, and every tomorrow. So goodbye for now, our dearest one; we’ll see you on the other side. Until then, know that you're deeply loved and forever part of our lives. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025, , from 10-11 AM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Pablo’s life at 11 AM.
