Tre'von J. Beasley

Tre’von James Beasley was born on July 12, 1998, in Wilmington, Delaware. He tragically passed away at the young age of 25 years old on May 30, 2024. He was known as “Twin” or Tre. He grew up in Edgemoor Gardens and attended Mount Pleasant High School. Tre grew up with three siblings, taking the title of “the hard-headed twin”, but was loved for his goofiness, self-sacrificing spirit, and outgoing personality. He shared a special relationship with each of his brothers. When he was younger Tre loved to play sports, especially football and basketball, and he could often be seen doing front and back flips with his twin brother. Trevon and Tajé had a bond only they could understand. He enjoyed traveling and took a trip to Puerto Rico with his younger brother Devin. His youngest brother Cameron lived with him, and they had a weekly tradition of playing basketball together. Tre saw the importance of teaching his younger siblings to be as self-sufficient and hardworking as he was. He was determined to be a positive role model for those around him, especially his brothers. To provide for his family he worked as a plumber full-time, and also worked part-time installing electric car charging stations. On March 31, 2017, Tre took on the most important role of his life: becoming a dad to Tre Jr. and 6 years later welcoming his precious daughter, Milánn. Tre loved his children with all his heart, whether it was going to a doctor’s visit, a field day at school, or taking his son on vacation, Tre was always there. His son, "Little Tre" mirrors his father’s personality with his goofy antics, always ready to wrestle and can be seen doing flips just like his dad. When you look into Milánn’s eyes you can see Tre. He seamlessly transitioned back and forth between a "boy dad" and a "girl dad". His mother Chandra was very proud of the man and father he had become. He began studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses to draw closer to God and hoped to share these truths with his beloved children one day. His dream was for his children to see the world and have new experiences, which will be completed with the help of his family. Although Tre will not be able to finish watching his children grow up, his legacy and his love for them will always be in their hearts. Tre is survived by his mother Chandra, twin brother Tajé, brothers Devin and Cameron, son Tre'von Jr. (Donna), daughter Milánn (Domonie), Uncle David (Winston), Aunts Courtney (Anthony) and Caitlin (Billy), and Cousins Andrew, Aaron, Ariah (Torsten), Alanis (Dennis), Lizzie and Billy along with a host of family, and childhood best friends. He was predeceased in death by his maternal grandparents Will and Jo Ann Beasley. Tre brought so much joy into our lives, and we are committed to sticking together as a family and supporting each other through these tough times. We will forever cherish the memories of Tre, and he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation and funeral on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 1:30 to 3 PM at the Strano and Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702, where a memorial service will be held at 3 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with final expenses to the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home at the above address.
