History & Staff
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
The Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home and Crematory opened their doors in August of 2000 under the direction of Vince Strano, licensed funeral director, and Joe Feeley, preneed counselor and advisor. They wanted to offer families a first class funeral service at a reasonable cost. Vince and Joe believe in treating families with the same care and dignity that they would want their loved ones to receive.
Vince is not only recognized as an innovative leader in the funeral business, but he is also actively involved in the community with the Westside Health Clinic, Delaware Kenya Association, West End Neighborhood House and the Christian Businessmen’s Fellowship.
Joe, a Delaware native, is the firm’s preneed advisor. He serves the families of Strano & Feeley with compassionate, professional advice concerning pre arranging and/or pre payment of funeral expenses. In the community Joe is involved in coaching track and cross country teams at Red Lion Christian Academy. August of 2007 was the grand opening of Strano & Feeley’s new state of the art chapel complete with web casting capabilities that allow services to be beamed worldwide if families desire. The onsite crematory was also opened in August 2007 and is the only chapel side crematory in Delaware.
